NYU Course and Resources to learn LIHTC / Affordable Housing Underwriting

I'm looking to get up to speed on LIHTC and Affordable Housing to underwrite some deals.  My background is not multifamily.

I ran across this course from NYU extension for $700.

sps.nyu.edu/professional-pathways/courses/REDV1-CE9642-affordable-housing-finance-and-development.html

Does anybody have experience with these courses?  Do you learn something or have option to email instructor?

Alternatively, seems the guru in the field is Novogradac and he has a book out every year for $800, is that a better use of money?  I bought his summary book on Amazon, but pretty simple.

Any other good guides or resources? Thanks in advance.
