NYU masters RE should I take the gmat/gre?

I'm considrering NYU for the masters in reeal estate program and a GRE/GMAT score is not required. I graduated with an undergraduate degree from IU kelley witha 3.0 . Will I be able to get in or should I take the gmat/gre.

Currently in the program. I didn't take it, but I had a 3.5 and some work experience. I have heard of some situations where NYU will ask for a GMAT score if they need something to further evaluate your application. I would recommend to just apply without it. You should get a decision pretty quickly (I think I got mine in about 2 weeks after applying) and they will tell you from there if they want a GMAT, which will leave you plenty of time to take it assuming you're looking to enter the program in the fall.

Are you going straight from undergrad into NYU Master's RE? I was thinking about it, but from what I've heard it's better to go in with work experience (say 2-3 years) first. What are your thoughts?

I've been looking around on LinkedIn and it seems like most people wait for 2-3 years as you said. I graduated undergrad last May and don't have any real estate experience , so I'll probably hold off.
