Obama: Husband, Father, President, Fund Manager?

"What you're now seeing is profit and earning ratios starting to get to the point where buying stocks is a potentially good deal," he said, "if you've got a long-term perspective on it." ~ Obama

In before the rally.

$100 bucks if big O actually knows what the term "profit and earning ratios" is referring to.

This just reeks of a soundbite some staffer gave him.

we need a straight talkin president who doesn't give the people some bs line, that makes us think we are all living in some fantasy world with unicorns and rainbows.

Are you saying unicorns and rainbows aren't real?

Too bad anyone that's managing a significant amount of money is smart enough to realize that he's just talking out of his ass (what's new).

That's damn near insulting to anyone that knows anything about the market.

Brown_Bateman:
Funny enough, it turned out to be the market bottom.

This guy is freaking superman.

Are you sure on the causality here?

Is he a genius, or is it perhaps that some televised optimism from the leader of the world's largest economy might actually move the market?
