Odds of Getting Offers from Superday - First round interviews
Since there was a topic earlier regarding the odds of making it to superday after the first round interviews, I thought this might be a nice follow up question. So what are the odds of getting a SA offer after you've been offered a Superday? Thanks!

It is different everywhere. My experience is for a regional office, so probably quite a bit different, but each year about 25-30 candidates get invited back for second rounds to compete for 4-5 spots.
Again, I don't really know, but I would guess this is not representative of NY offices because there are many more candidates and many more spots.
id like to know the answer to this as well.. if it varied bank by bank, what are the chances for individual banks?
anyone?
For every 10 people, and top 2 I'm guessing? I assume its roughly 20%.
But that's assuming that no one will get multiple offers, which happens quite often. If its a top-tier bank, chances are those top 2 will accept, but for other banks, boutiques, etc. the top 2 may have better offers, so #3,4,5,6 could end up with an offer... bumping the odds up significantly. I don't have a number to give you, just saying that these odds depend on the bank/industry group.

considering i have gone 0 for 3 on superdays, i either really suck or the odds are not good
Wow, that's interesting. I was under the notion that when one makes it to Superday the job is really theirs for the taking, unless of course they elicit a negative impression. Now this is not in any way meant to degrade you. I'm sure you'll do just fine and something will work out for you considering you've made it to three Superdays, which is an accomplishment in its own. But does anybody know how many positions are typically available for Superday candidates? I mean what is the typical candidate to position ratio for the final round of interviews?
