If you're anything like the stereotypical banker, the thought of using your financial superpowers to do more good than harm has probably crossed your mind at least once or twice.
What careers make sense to go into in order to have a positive impact on the world even if it's from the backlines doing financial work? What can you do to actually make a difference in the world through finance? What do you plan on doing with your finance skills to better the world?
The siren's song of living life without banking is omnipresent in most banker's lives so I'm hoping you guys have some good insight here.Deleleleleleleleleeeleleellelelelelellelelelelellelelelelelelellelleelelelelelelelelelelelellelele

I think IB can absolutely do good you just don't see it because you're not involved in the day to day operations of the firm.

If you want a one on one personal connection I'd recommend looking into financial planning. You can really make a difference in people's lives and help ease their financial burdon.

I think corporate development for early-stage firms would also be rewarding because you're directly involved in the key strategic decisions for building a successful business.
