That isn’t good. Being how late it is in recruiting, I doubt they’re waitlisting anyone. Id expect bad news in the coming days while hoping for an offer
To clarify this is for a sophomore program. Should I email an interviewer and follow up?
you didn't make it dude, move on.
Why's that? HR said they would be making final decisions after the holiday
I was simply asking about if they call on diff days
I've been there, I'm telling you, you didn't make it. In the best case scenario, you got waitlisted.
They are waiting to see if someone turns down their offer, if so they may give you one
HR said they’d be “making final decisions and notify candidates after the holiday.”
However like I said some guy in my super day got an offer call earlier today. So i don’t think I got waitlisted. Should I reach out to an interviewer?

You are either rejected or potentially waitlisted. Offer calls go out all at once, HR doesn't control it so they wouldn't really know if it's Wednesday or Friday. If any decline they will have a waitlist they will call, and that will be after the holiday.
Sorry man but sophomore BB programs are even tougher to land than junior SA since the spots are so limited, it's great to even get a superday. Many times you will never hear back from superdays, so I'd mentally view it as a rejection and try to move on. Don't follow up with the interviewer, deal with HR. Although it'd be smart to send a "thanks again for your time, would love to keep in touch for next summer" email to any interviewers you hit it off with, even if you already sent them a 2 liner thank you note.
Damn okay, thanks for the advice bro. So as of rn, I shouldn’t reach out to one of my interviewers tomorrow asking them when the decisions come out?
Doing this would get me in my interviewers’ minds, I would assume.
The decision is already made so there's no reason for you to be in the interviewer's mind, if you reach out with that question it should be to HR. But also, you do know the decisions already came out. Sorry man, you will land something.
Don’t get your hopes up. But that being said, about 3 weeks ago I had a superday at a BB, and waited a full week before receiving a call with an offer from one of the MDs who interviewed me. He sounded very excited and told me I was all of the interviewers’ top choice from the round, which makes me think it wasn’t a waitlist situation, but maybe that was BS.
Why on earth are you getting a direct call from the MD wtf?
