I would not recommend either if you’re looking to jump into BB or HF. I recently graduated from a top MSF program (think Vandy/MIT/WashU), and we’ve only had 7 people from our class enter into BB IB roles, and only 1 person in HF. If you had to pick between Ohio State and URochester, I’d like my chances much better at URochester. However, I’d highly recommend applying to one of the top 3 programs, or Texas, if you’re set on going to a BB or HF. Hope this helps!

 

Those are three really different types of schools. People from MIT typically go straight to quant fund and WUSTL has many options not everyone was there to do high finance. if Vandy is the case, that’s interesting because they pose themself as IB generator. And to OP: you should think twice before going to either in this environment.
