...one more Excel Q
Pretty simple one here. I am doing an IF function, and the condition I am testing is whether one cell (let's call it A1) equals a number of cells - let's call those cells B2, C3, D4, and E5. If A1 equals at least one of those four cells, the condition is true. Is there a simpler way to write this than:
=IF(OR(A1=B2,A1=C3,A1=D4,A1=E5),TRUE,FALSE)
I'm looking for something like:
=IF(A1=OR(B2:E5),TRUE,FALSE)
That doesn't work.
Thanks!
you were so close... =IF(OR(A1=B2:E5),TRUE,FALSE) as an array formula
