One year at CRA -> Corporate banking or stay?

Been working as a junior analyst(formal title: research assistant) for a year at one of the big three CRA. Despite very good performance reviews it seems as is only one promotion to analyst would be possible on my own merit, and even a bit dependant on team workload, and to move higher after that it would basically depend on others in the team to quit/move. (downside of working at a small local office with only 6 people in our sector..)

With that in mind would a move to a analyst program in corporate banking at a bb make sense or is it better to stick it out longer and aim for exiting for a move higher in the future?
