Operations/Trading Assistant Exit Opportunities
I just finished up my first year at an asset manager focused in FI. My current role is more operations based, but I am creeping my way up into a trading assistant role. Although the pay and work as a trading assistant isn't bad, I'm worried that it is a dead-end. As of late, I have been thinking about my options for exit opportunities. I would love an outsiders perspective of what types of roles or industries I should consider.
What do you want to do? Do you want to be an FI trader? PM? Something else?
