I am currently working in my second year at a tier II consulting firm (ATK// &O) in India. I want to transition to the top tier consulting firms and want to know about the opportunities offered by the Kellogg 1 year MBA.
Background: Undergrad degree in engineering from top Indian school (IIT) and a post-grad diploma in management from a top Indian b-school (which takes care of the eligibility requirement for the 1 year program at Kellogg).and I plan to enter Kellogg (or another top school) with 3-4 years of experience.
I am interested in knowing if such transitions are possible from the 1 year program, or would a 2-year program be a more suitable path. Also, what can I possibly do before and during b-school to maximize my chances of convertingfrom the 1 year program.
