OPS ---> MBA?

I'm graduating this year with a sub-3.5 and I am seriously considering ops for full-time, would this hurt me when going for MBA, or should I try getting some other job? I have already failed with banking recruitment so that option is out.

I will appreciate any insights on ops

Yea that's actually true, for some reason crop fin requires a really high gpa.

IBM is the best example, the only way to become a Corporate financial analyst at IBM is to have like a 3.8 or 3.9 and perform very well on a co-op. If someone get's it in another way, without the requirements I just mentioned, they lied to you.

sick comeback bro... i understand why you get pissed...too bad it's cuz you give shitty advice all the time on this forum, and unfortunately people probably act on it because you give it as if it's gospel... don't really need to put you on blast, but i know who you are cuz i went to your b-school, and i can say conclusively that you have no reason to be as cocky as you are on this site, because your background is not that impressive...

I think an MBA is about more than just the job itself. Things like What did you get out of the job, what are some of your other life experiences, what can you bring to the school, so basically be able to tell your whole story. So I don't think ops will hurt you.

You give me a gift? *BAM* Thank you note! You invite me somewhere? *POW* RSVP! You do me a favor? *WHAM* Favor returned! Do not test my politeness.
