Osama burial-- definite ANT topic

Can yoU believe these fucking clowns complaining that we shot to kill Osama and dumped him in the ocean where he belongs? Bunch of liberal pussies. We should have had our soldiers take shits on his face and post the Pics on facebook. Against Islamic tradition? Fuck that I have no sympathy for his family. Who's with me

Extremist Al Quaida nutjobs = liberals? Not sure I follow.

I have no problem whatsoever with our guys popping him. Why they dumped the body in the ocean I still don't get. If he'd been captured alive, he would have faced the same fate as Hussein. Pakistan and the US are going to have to rework their relationship. MENA power dynamics will change as a result. Iran will continue to grow influence. The rebels must be supported.

The rest is details

SEALs shot him with a tranquilizer bullet and he's secretly being held in a CIA prison somewhere. True story.

i want to see the dumped-in-sea certificate, in pdf form

i also hope they still have him alive and are doing things to him including rear-ending with a pineapple

IMO I wish we shat on his face then dumped him in the sea (alive) durring halftime of a playoff game...or waited until Ramadan.

Afraid of retaliation? What exactly was our offense that caused al Qaeda to attack on 9/11? We can't pussyfoot around because we are afraid that we may piss off a bunch of extremists who history has shown do not need provocation to attack - besides that the west lets our women vote/learn/work and wear bikinis.

I am more liberal leaning but some people on the far left love and live to complain. For some people "the sky can't be blue enough".

anywho the US military > Al Qaeda. I still feel safer today than I did 9/12/01

The guy ordered and orchestrated the killing of innocent women and children. Anyone who mourns and vows revenge because we killed him was never sane to begin with.

Maybe if they tried improving their country, embracing other religions and womens freedoms, maybe then their lives and nation would improve. Randomly bombing the US isn't going to change the fact that it is 2011 and you still live in a cave.

HAHAHaha! "you live in a cave. You can end the war, or we will blow up your cave. You don't want the cave???"

Going hunting this weekend. Anyone who looks down on this stuff hasn't experienced it. We should probably hang out some time. [I'm not from redneck country, but love visiting it]

Yeah, people would attack us even if we didn't kill him. But remember, they WORSHIP him. He's like god to them. Holding him as a hostage is probably better at thwarting potential attacks than fucking dumping him in the ocean.

2 cents.

They capped him and dumped the body in the ocean because they didn't want to deal with the shit storm that would have erupted had they captured him alive or tried to bury him somewhere.

He was unarmed, the SEALs are steely balled professionals, they easily could have taken him alive -- it's pretty apparent that their orders were to shoot on sight. What would they have done with him if he were alive? Stuck him in Guantanamo? Plaster his face all over the news? Try him in a Manhattan court room? That would have just given him a platform to spew vitriol from. Anyways, we all saw how that worked out with KSM.

As for burying the body on land, where would we do it? Pakistan? Afghanistan? Send him back to his family in Saudi Arabia? That just turns him into a martyr and a recruiting tool for Al-Qaida. I suppose they could have buried him in the U.S. somewhere, but Obama was probably worried that Americans would freak out if Osama was buried in their neighborhood. Not to mention the fact that a bunch of rednecks desecrating his grave wouldn't have played well in the Arab world.

Better to do it how we did it. Let him slip away into the water like a bad dream. Minimize his legacy. When your goal is to kill not just a man but an idea, it's better to eliminate all visible evidence. Desecrating his body and broadcasting it around the world would have just given him one last moment in the sun, one last victory.

Everything you said I agree with except the "rednecks" comment. I take that offensively because I'm sure you've never met a true "redneck".

^^ Does being from Illinois give me any redneck credibility? ^^

Being a redneck as nothing to do where you're from, for the most part. It has to do with who you are, what you do, and your lifestyle. Example, I'm definitely classified as a redneck. I am in finance, but am from a highly agricultural area and still enjoy all those aspects.

People tend to think life is a race with other people. They don't realize that every moment they spend sprinting towards the finish line is a moment they lose permanently, and a moment closer to their death.

Theres worse dont worry. In germany right now there is serious outrage over the fact that the chancellor, Merkel, congratulated Obama on the killing of Osama.

A chancellor apparently is not to congratulate someone over killing a human being.

OUTRAGEOUS!

Germany's got the demographic equivalent of Mexicans, but they are muslim. Europe is in deep shit, and this is why I see islamic terrorism as more their problem than ours in the long run. WE are thousands of miles away, THEY are right next door.

In addition to shatting his face, they should have made him sit on his hands somewhere in Manhattan while everyone with a strong stomach gets to take a shit on his head. Call it 'shatting on Osama week'. When the week ends, load his ass back on the Carl Vinson and throw his ass overboard somewhere in the Arctic Sea so he freezes his ass to death

Still I Rise

I have been thinking about this and I sincerely hope that the guy who put him on his knees and shot him used the last 3 seconds of his life to say something worthwhile. He had time to come up with it so I hope he made it count.

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses - Henry Ford
