Overlapping Internships 2022 - what would you do?

Howdy

I have accepted an OC internship this spring at a BB. I also have an offer for SA at another BB. The latter would start two weeks before the first will end. Super excited about both. Neither is obv. better than the other in terms of aligning w/ my goals. Two different cities.

Upside of accepting SA: hedge against not getting a return offer from the OC and possibly the chance to see two banks and decide which is a better fit.

Downside: if I do get a return offer - perhaps won't be as hyped to do another internship. The SA start date seems difficult to change (but is it for sure?), so would have to come to an arrangement on the OC.

How do you think that would work and what would you personally do?

Would it be possible for you to take all of your pro-rata annual leave for your OC at the end of the internship?

If you're able to do that and it provides sufficient time off then you have a chance at managing this as you effectively finish two weeks before the end date and could hand all your equipment back jumping straight into the SA role

Depends on a couple of things again, check your OC offer to see if they give you annual leave. Would be surprised if they didn't.

Sign the SA once you're sure that you can handle this and it works logistically. Think about which city you want to be in as well
