Paris School of Economics

Hey guys,

what do you think about the Paris School of Economics?
I do not know someone who graduated there and never saw this school in any rankings.
Would it be a good choice for a Master degree or a PhD for going into IB/Consulting?
How do you see this School?

PSE is a research institute in Sciences and Economics which combines the research arms of several leading French schools. It's not in rankings because the degrees are tailored for people who want to do research and the brand name is not particularly strong in the business world (very good for research though with great professors). In France, stick to the top 5 Grande Ecoles (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, EDHEC, EM Lyon) as well as Dauphine and Sciences Po Paris. Any of these schools are good enough for IB and well respected in France/London. Any school lower in the rankings will make it difficult to break into M&A/London programs (not impossible though). For consulting in France it becomes kinda hard to get a MBB outside the top 3 (and sciences po which places pretty well too). There hope this helps !
