Part Time Finance Instructor Role - Good Move to Increase IB Application Credentials?

So I'm a recent graduate who graduated from a target school 2015 and worked as a liquidity manager and Forex trader under the FX trading desk for a year until 2016 and currently working in the family business (non-finance related).

I'm currently 23 years old (graduated at 20, we start early here) and I'm from the Southeast Asia Region and although IB is no doubt competitive anywhere in the world, it's less mainstream where I'm from (some Finance professionals don't even know what IB is).

I've decided I wanna re-pursue a Finance career but in IB. The thing is I'm still learning on my financial modelling skills and other prerequisites. And even though I'm from a target school my grades are not stellar ( 2.9 GPA). I'm aware of the cutthroat competition and long hours (we used to work long hours in the FX trading desk).

I was wondering if getting a part time Finance instructor job at our target university would bring significant points to my credentials of getting into IB while I'm preparing myself (financial modelling, pitch deck making, pitch practicing, etc). In addition to the typical necessities such as networking, good CV/Cover letter, cold calling/email, etc.

Thanks everyone!
