PE Lateraling - Switching Industries
Currently working in my 2nd / 3rd year in an industry-focused NYC MM PE shop and I love the firm and culture but just don't see myself staying in this specific sector long-term. For context, I originally came from a generalist management consulting background and worked across industries.
Any thoughts on how hard it would be to lateral to a generalist shop / another industry vertical given I've had a specialized experience for the last 2-3 years?
