Pemberton Asset Management
Hi guys,
Currently working as first year analyst at Rothschild and received an offer from a direct lender named Pemberton with $6.5bn AuM and active in Europe. The fund is still young but it has been gaining market share pretty quickly in Europe. They told me I would be joining a rotational programme which would involve both investor relations, portfolio management and credit. What would be your advice in terms of career progression and switch to the buyside?

What is the comp they have offered you? These guys are not very great when it comes to analysis and due diligence.
Comp is in line with IBD, but have no idea about the year end bonus. Why they are not good at analysis and DD?
Only issue I see is rotations to IR and Portfolio mgt (ie outside investing)
