PERE Modeling Course
Hello Monkeys,
As some of you might know, I am new to the real estate game (currently in FIG) and looking to break into PERE. I am currently finishing up the Bruggeman and Fisher book and looking to move on to learning modeling now. I searched through these forums and found a few recommended courses but trying to narrow down to one. I think REFM's "Principles Of Commercial Real Estate Finance With Bruce Kirsch" looks like a good comprehensive course as does the BIWS 101 course. For someone brand new to real estate, which would you recommend to help prepare me for PERE interviews? As always, I very much appreciate all your advice and insight.
Also, do any of these courses complement the free argus training the site offers?
Thank you
Bump - also interested. Kirsh has the course on REFM mentioned above for $399, but there is also Real Estate Finance Bootcamp for $99. Is Kirsch's course worth the extra $300?
PERE is a site/magazine. Most people I've met refer to the industry as REPE.
"Breaking Into Wall Street" has a real estate modeling course.
Depending on where you are, some university RE graduate programs offer non-credited night courses.
