Personal financial investment in the upcoming bearish markets
Hello everybody,
As an upcoming full-time M&A Analyst next Summer, I wanted to have your views on personal finance, investment and savings.
I guess the general feeling points towards an upcoming recession in the very next years. I will be in a high-paying position and never had to manage such amounts of money before.
I know financial literacy is crucial and I am continuously trying to learn about it. In this sense, what are your advice for young people in my situation?
When I say "advice" I mean sources to learn, products to look up, potential investments to research... Anything in a nutshell!
Looking forward to discuss this with all of you.
Cheers,
Rorshak
How the hell does an M&A Analyst not know how to manage money? Do you receive allowances all the way to graduation?
Wow that's terribly useful thanks...
1) Maybe because I am not an Analyst yet 2) Maybe because this is not the job of an M&A Analyst to manage money 3) Maybe because I never managed the amounts of money we are talking about 4) Maybe because they do not teach you about this in business school (a shame, undoubtly)
But thanks for the insight
Short the vix.
Do it the baby boomer way and buy an index fund.
