Phone Call With Head of a Firm (Asset Manager)
Hi WSO, I have a phone call scheduled with a well-known Midwestern Fund manager that I met at a conference a few weeks back. I introduced myself and we talked for a short while about Value investing, Buffett, etc. but he had to go and suggested I give him a call. I wanted to know if anyone has any advice as to how I can make the most of this and maybe get it to result in an opportunity to work for free at his fund for next summer. I want to mention that I am 18 and am starting Uni this fall. Posting in IB because I feel like this is where people network the hardest and would probably have the best advice.
