Phone Interview During Layover
A very important phone interview got pushed back to tomorrow, and the only time our schedules matched up was during my 80 minute layover in Milwaukee. No idea where I will be able to find a good place to do it. Not a big airport, no airline clubs, and it's the holiday season.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm probably going to ask the TSA if I could use one of their rooms.
TSA is not going to let you use a room. I've had this happen to me and I just sat in the corner of the airport away from people.
I know it's a busy travel day, but scope out a gate where a plane just boarded/took off and aim for that. It should give you some time before the area starts to fill up again.
There are some private business cubicles in one of the terminals, I can't remember which however. I think there was a Chile's nearby? Haven't flown out of there since the summer.
Goes without saying that you should reiterate that you'll be at an airport during a layover and apologize in advance for any inconvenience (noise etc). Perhaps mention in an email that if you don't answer, the flight must be delayed and you'll return the call as soon as you land or something, if it's not already scheduled so that you let them know you've landed or something.
try to find a private bathroom.
