Pimco Portfolio Manager Compensation
Can somebody provide an estimate of the total compensation (base, signing, performance, etc) for the first few years as a post-mba portfolio manager at PIMCO in new port beach office? I received an offer to join for the summer, but I'm not able to find any reliable data. I loved the office and money is certainly not my primary concern, but it is a factor, and it's a little awkward to ask about.
Most likely what you are earning now as a base.
Sign on is 50
From my understanding all-in is a little below street early on as they consider you getting to put PIMCO on your resume as quite valuable. That said if you manage to stick around it will escalate considerably. Worry less about what you'll get paid 1-3 years out of B-School and more about what you'll get paid 5-10 years out.
I've heard the same thing
Hey 1234,
Can you post a little about your background Pre MBA + The recruiting process at PIMCO?
Did you get this internship through on-campus recruiting? Which schools does PIMCO recruit at?
It's definitely well below their peer group, until you get quite senior.
so how much do the seniors get?
