PIMCO - What has changed internally in the past few years after their acquisition by Allianz?

Very curious about this. Some reviews on Glassdoor say things like "culture has gotten worse" and "politics are getting more important", but I'm really curious to get some perspective from people in the know, if possible.

If anyone was there before the takeover and is still there now (and is somehow on this board), perhaps they can chime in anonymously as well?

PIMCO is a long shot for most people, but I really want to know what I'm trying to get myself into here.

Thanks!
