Pinpoint Partners Is The Worst

This is half venting, half alerting those going through any recruiting processes -

As has been discussed previously on WSO, Pinpoint Partners is a joke of a firm that sends almost nothing but spam, and doesn't respond to any emails asking to be removed from their list. They continue to spam me - almost daily - for totally irrelevant job openings despite my replying that I have no interest in going back to IB or no interest in X geography. They will even send me the same posting 3-5 times in the span of 2-3 weeks. Surprisingly, they seem to occasionally represent legit firms. How they manage to do this I have no idea.

Has anyone had any success getting them to stop spamming them? Incredibly unprofessional. I wouldn't hire them if I were looking for candidates and they were free. The way they spam everyone on their lists just reflects poorly on the firms hiring them.

They don't actually represent these firms, they just learn of the opening and try to get your res in the pile. They stopped emailing me after I told them to stop a few times, but can't you just have your spam filter flag their emails?

Thanks, let me know if you ever need an introduction in the industry.
