Plan

Sorry about the beginnerish posts, but this whole finance thing is fairly new to me. I'm just finished my freshman year, and am currently interning for the summer at an engineering company. I'm currently majoring in EE, but I hope to major in EE and finance. I hope to land in TMT IB at a BB. Will The engineering experience help? Anyways, in addition to the engineering internship, I was hoping to land a PWM part time job. I interviewed for a spot at UBS, but I very likely won't be getting this job. My question is what do I do to position myself for a solid internship next summer (summer after sophomore year)? Could I get IBD at a BB this summer? Should I be networking right now? I guess I'm just asking for help developing an all-inclusive game plan of what I need to get done this year to land a good internship this summer. I really appreciate the help, and again, I'm sorry if my questions seem silly.
