Prudential Capital Group seeking an Investment Analyst to join their Chicago corporate finance Office.
Description & Responsibilities:
The Investment Analyst role is a three-year assignment that offers candidates the chance to build their analytical skills and expand their knowledge of private capital investments and the broader capital markets. In this role, the Analyst supports Prudential Capital Group in managing and investing private placement senior, mezzanine and equity investments in companies around the globe. Prudential Capital Group's clients range from large multi-national public companies to smaller privately held companies across broad industry classifications.

So does Prudential Capital Group provide mezzanine capital to companies as a primary issuance (placement), or does it invest in the debt in the secondary market? Can someone give me a typical and Easy example of a "deal" they would do? Who are their "clients"??? I have an interview and dont understand them.
