Please review my resume for FT MM IBD

Hey everyone,

I'm a rising senior at a top 20 non-Ivy target who's interested in middle market iBanking FT jobs post-graduation (think Houlihan Lokey, Jefferies, Harris Williams, etc.) Please review my resume! Thanks so much everyone!

1) make the decimal points consistent in your GPAs 2) remove 'related courses' from your relevant coursework section 3) I would remove the high school line, but that's just personal preference 4) you have an extra space between 'and ratio' in the PR company section 5) for the TA position section - did you advise the business plans or advise the students? May want to rewrite the description line.

Hope this helps!

Good resume...did not read it in detail though I just second what al856 said. Also noticed you did not have a lot of modeling exposure at your SA...might want to read up on it and BS a sentence or two (i did). just make sure you back it up.

just my 2 cents...

You should be able to get interviews. have a good story behind your mediocre GPA. I would start networking right now if you want a spot at one of the firms you mentioned. As far as mid-tier MM firms go I think you would have a decent shot.

Thanks oldmansacks for the pointers -- I'm working on Wall Street Prep and should have that completed by the time FT recruiting rolls around. Didn't feel comfortable putting that in the resume in case I'm blitzed on it during an interview though.

Consistent decimal points for gpa - come on dude, your applying for an analyst position I don't like the first bullet point under your SA I would list bullets of all responsibilities and then list transaction experience - you an go into transactions in more detail in the interview Under PR Company you have inconsistent spacing before/after the fwd slash Global comment: at my bank and whenever I have participated in drafting etc, we do not use a comma in a list after "and" Entrepeneurship class the date are backwards and bullet reads weird
