PMs, Analysts, Bankers, Fo/Mo/Bo monkeys, finance majors, how is your personal investing doing?

Just a survey to see how Wall Street monkeys or monkeys-to-be are doing for their personal wealth. I remember asking my Investment class professor whether finance professors are beating the market. He answered: ‘we are too poor to invest’

Curious how professionals are doing with their own money.

To make it easier to reply and read, please structure your answer in the following order:

  1. Your position (Fo/Mo/Bo, undergraduate student, MBA student, not working in the industry, etc)
  2. Your portfolio size, better separate stock accounts and 401/MF /ETF accounts. 5m,>20m
  3. Are you allowed to trade freely?
  4. Did you normally beat SP500? Well you may use other benchmarks, but just use SP500 as a quick and easy benchmark.
  5. Number of years of investing own money
  6. Bragging trade if any
