POSITIVE THINKING: THE SECRET, THE ALCHEMSIT: DOES IT WORK?

DOES POSITIVE THINKING WORK? DOES THE WHOLE UNIVERSE WORK IN YOUR FAVOR WHEN YOU ARE FOLLOWING YOUR DREAMS?

That is what you learn in the Secret, The Alchemist, or in the Power of your Subconscious Mind.

I wonder?

For so many years, I was chasing the dream of Medical School. But here is the thing: I never really wanted to become a doctor. I never even liked medical school. I was only chasing that goal because of my family, and because of prestige.

And here's the thing: As I was chasing that "dream", nothing worked out. I mean, everything was a disaster.

So I recently red the Alchemist, about following your dreams. And you know what your dream is when you are very young. And I realized: My real dream is to be a top business executive. Ever since I could read, I loved learning about business. I used to read about business executives when I was in elementary school.

So I pursued that path. And so far, come to think of it, it does seem to work. So recently I landed a job at this Pharmaceutical investment company. Come to think of it, it is really an ideal job. I interact directly with the CEO. And the CEO is a milti- millionaire, with a home worth 15 million.

I wonder what this will lead to? But for the first time in my life, I really feel that I am going somewhere. I don't know where, and I don't know what the end result will be, but it does seem that I am doing the right things.

But here's the thing: How I got this job is complete luck. In the interview, Interviewed with some lower ranked people. But the CEO had some extra time, so he talked to me. He liked me and hired me on the spot.

Now, I had applied to lots of other jobs. Mind you, I worked for several years as a lab technician, so that it what I applied to. But for some reason, I never got a single lab tech offer. This is a business job, and I have absolutely no business experience. But I managed to get hired.

And mind you, I had no fucking clue what my job would entail. But after a few weeks now, it is really an ideal job. I also interact directly with executives from other companies (as pharma companies often work together to bring a drug to the market). I enjoy my job, and have learnt new things everyday. I arrive at 7:30 and leave at 5 or later every day .

What is more: my cubicle is right outside the CEO's office. So he sees me get to work early. He told me today, in an email, that he is very happy with my work.

I wonder what this will lead to? I wonder if those books actually have some truth to them?

But here's the thing: Humans barely understand the universe OP, who knows. I will say that there is power in how you think with regards to how you approach situations in life and make decisions. Everyone has their own way of making it work for them. Just believe whatever you want to believe and if it works out for you, then more power to you.

If you find yourself feeling lost, go climb a mountain.

Pump and Dump Well here's the thing. We know that everything is just energy. That is all their is to it. And we know that certain frequencies attract each other. I don't know the details mind you, but we know that. Now I feel that it might be definitely possible to alter the environment in ways we don't know. Of course, I may be wrong.

But I have been reading a lot about these things, and it does seem that way. As I understand, everything in the world is related. Now we know from quantum experiments that molecules can affect each other, even if they never met. So IDK, but we do know that the world is more complicated than it seems

Is this a page from your diary??

It sounds like you're looking for attention. What do you want us to answer to your rhetorical questions "I wonder what this will lead to? I wonder if those books actually have some truth to them?"

Maybe spend less time writing novels on how you're best friends with the CEO and more time working/studying and you'll fulfill your ridiculous dream of becoming a billionaire.

All that shit is basically saying that if you put in effort, run with and build on positive shit that comes your way, and push away and negate the effects of the negative shit, your overall trend will be positive. No shit, that’s just numbers

Having read your other contributions on this site, I'd say it probably leads to a van, down by the river.
