Possibilities as a non target in LDN?
Hey,
I am a German student from a no name Uni with a good Bachelors degree.
I got experience in Assurance at the Big 4, worked 6 month in the Corporate Finance department of a small bank and another 3 month in Transaction Advisory at a Big 4 Firm.
I really want to get into IB in London but I feel like its a bit difficult, especially because there are not that many Off-cycle internship opportunities.
Any advice on next steps? Master degrees at top unis are currently to expensive for me.
Hi pskis, no, I never sleep and so I can respond to any lonely threads (like this one) at all hours of the night. Impressive, I know ;-)

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
Advice will be pretty standard and likely not what you want to hear but your experience currently just won’t be competitive enough for IBD. Best you can do is sign up for a 2Yr MFin programme at a Target, do an internship and then hope for a FT offer afterwards. If not try the Big4 TAS path then IBD after 2-3Yrs, good luck!
Why would you say it is not competitive enough tho?
If I look at people who visit a Spring Week and do a SA after I don't think they have any skills I don't have.
Don't get me wrong, this is not the typical target / non target hate or anything but doesn't really makes sense to me.
