Posting a letter rather than sending an email?
I met up with a fund manager at one of the largest asset management firms and the conversation turned to networking.
I told him that I was cold emailing fund managers and other senior people in the industry.
He said to me that fund managers and other senior people get countless emails a day and they are more than likely not going to read it. I told him I understand this and I asked him how can I best get people attention?
He said that the best thing to do is to type a letter and post it to the targetted induvidual.
Have any of you done this before?
Is it a good idea to post a letter instead of sending an email?
