Pre Experience and lack of experience. Advice on where to begin?

Hi everyone! So I'm pre experience looking for advice on where to begin. For some background I graduated college with a degree in Biology. I went to medical school and hated it. My grades where about average for the class but I made a mistake going into medicine for all the wrong reasons. It's been some time and I decided in a career in finance was a better fit for me. I'm entering a MSF program in August to try to help me facilitate this career change. I'm currently working as a cashier to earn some money in the meanwhile. I was looking for advice on what I should be doing to put myself in a better position to land a job as an analyst. I had trouble landing internships as a non student and needed some money for the meanwhile. So I took a job as a cashier and I atleast have some money in my bank account now. I was hoping to work a job while earning my degree. It's fairly impossible for me to earn a career level job with my lack of experience at the moment but an internship would be ideal for me. Is it a decent idea to try and become a bank teller for the moment to earn some money? Are internships a possibility at this point considering how close I am to entering school? I wanted to speak to career services at my school but I was told that I wouldn't have access to that until I started. I understand that being a bank teller won't really help me with my future career aspirations but for the moment it could be a decent way to earn some money. Should I be going that route or focusing on internships? Any other ideas?
