Preparing a Corporate Banking / Coverage interview
Hi guys,
Sorry if this is not the right category, I could not find a section about corporate banking (if this is not the right place, please indicate me).
I might have an interview with a BB American bank in the Nordics (Sweden) and I would like to be prepared in case of and not to be taken off guard.Context:
I am actually in a kind of graduate program with a leading European bank in the Nordics (Norway to be more precise) where I am in the coverage side. My position is quite hybrid as it is a bridge of corporate banking (plain vanilla financing, trade etc..) plus some investment banking stuff as we have a Director in my team that is covering the IB side (originating and executing deals for large Norwegian corporates). So I had some exposure to IB deals and it was mainly PPT presentations and also excel modelling (ranging from complex debt modelling to simple LBO models).
Your advice:
I know that you may not know which kind of questions the interviewers will ask me as it will be focused on CB and not in IB but if you have any advice on what to revise before the interview: brainteaser, classic formulas like EV; NPV; WACC, concepts to know and maybe some industry knowledge I guess ?
I will also dig in the forum to get some knowledge about interviews as well.
Thanks a lot for your help and hope that I am not too much off topic.
Cheers
