Preparing for Post-MBA Sr. Associate / VP Roles
I'm a current MBA student at a top bschool that is interning at a large cap PE fund this summer (have prior PE experience). I was wondering if anyone had advice on the best way to prepare for post-MBA level responsibilities? At this point, I feel like I understand the modeling and core finance of PE, but what do people think are the most important VP-level responsibilities to prepare for? Are there books / reference guides you'd use for topics like deal structuring or financing?
