Preparing for potential REPE intwerview

Hey guys,
I have an opportunity to get my foot in the door at a well respected REPE shop. They have asked me to send over my materials, mainly a resume and why I would be a good fit at xyz firm. I am thinking about also sending them a pitch, maybe on a company or a space in real estate they should invest in. I really just want to show them I can think like an investor. Any thoughts or advice on how i should go about this ? Thanks!
