Prestige of BB cafeterias
Although I didn't get any SA offers, I still believe I will make it to a top group at the BBs for FT. I wanted to get an idea about the quality of BB cafeterias. This will play a crucial role in my selection for FT. I also figure I could save myself some time by not applying to banks with a low cafeteria ranking.
Could somebody please rank the top banks in terms of their cafeteria food quality/prestige?
What makes you think this? Just curious...
haha good point that entire thread was unecessary
Because if he can get in as a summer in the bank cafeteria with the most prestige he should easily be able to leverage that into FT in Banking at an BB, its a common entrance route for those without SA offers....To the OP I really liked what Morgan Stanley did this summer when we had dining through the decades with food from the 20s 30s 40s etc., and music da boot
prestige worldwide, wide, wide, wide.
From my experience, the cafeterias at all of the BBs are overpriced and you could do a lot better for yourself walking somewhere nearby. Another benefit for that is that it is nice to leave the office for a lunch break if you can... really helps to break things up. Cafeterias are most useful if you are getting crushed with work, and are starved, so you can run down really quick and grab a sandwich.
On the other hand, I've heard marvelous things about the eating conditions at boutiques... looks like the private-side really knows how to pamper their employees to keep morale high.
Really Balance? I disagree re: the overpricing at BBs. Sure, there are those special "gourmet" stations that they rotate every week - though who wants to load up on special regional Italian pasta for lunch when you're falling asleep anyway, I don't know - but I can get a sandwich (with chips & a pickle) for $4.75 and/or create my own salad for $5.50. Now what Blake & Todd or Cafe Metro will give you that!
no wonder you didnt get any sa offers
why are there so many serious responds in a thread that is clearly a lame attempt at a joke?
I think this should help:
