Prestige of healthcare STEM job for M7 MBA

Hi guys,

I am a medical laboratory scientist who is looking into transitioning into healthcare IB or healthcare management consulting post-MBA. I am aware how crucial it is to land in the M7 or their European counterparts ( INSEAD, LBS , Ox-bridge ) for this endeavor. First of all, I have a 3.9 GPA and a 780 GMAT. My undergraduate institution was not a prestigious one at all. I am curious, however, if my job and employer would be considered "high" prestige by adcoms especially when compared shoulder to shoulder with IB and consulting guys. I work for Stanford Health Care as a medical laboratory scientist. It is an in-demand healthcare and STEM job at one of the most highly regarded healthcare systems in the US. Would this job and employer be impressive enough for M7 adcoms? Also, my first job ever was for AXA, one of the largest insurance providers in the world where I was a financial adviser. I am am also a Chartered Financial Analyst with a great performance in all levels of the CFA and have very decent returns managing family and friend funds.

Transitioning from this laboratory job into IB or management consulting is extremely important to me as I am more into the business and financial elements of healthcare, rather than the clinical elements. Would you guys think my background is good enough? Is there anything I can do to further my chances? I have 4 years of work experience overall.
