Prestige Ranking

Hi all would you agree with this ranking in terms of prestige (with 1 being the best)?

  1. PE MF MD

  2. Superstar celeb - Kanye West/Dr Dre/Jay-Z/Drake

  3. BB IBD MD

  4. Fortune 100 CEO

  5. Big law firm partner (Cravath/Kirkland etc)

  6. Top Medical Doctor/Surgeon

  7. MBB MD/Partner

  8. Asia PE MF MD

  9. Asia BB IBD MD

  10. Top VC (Sequoia etc) Partner

idk i fee like f100 ceos are more prestigious ... plus in the proxy statements most are pulling 10m+ / year (only ceo though)

But to IBD MDs that celebrity billion-dollar brand is nothing more than a small fry on an excel sheet among the dozens of other billion-dollar brands that they deal with in a year.

After a certain point it's not really about the money anymore - IBD MDs deal with tens of billions of dollars on a daily basis - there is just something intimidating about being known as someone who deals with that kind of $ on a frequent basis everyday - something celebrities will never get to do or know how to do

Nah. Carlyle owned about 25% of beats + Dre and others own the remaining rest.

The Mega Fund MDs negotiated on his behalf for their own self interest.

A business needs top line. Superstars can create top line with a tweet.

TSLA has spent no money on marketing, Elon while a CEO, is a superstar celebrity. He creates top line with a single tweet.
