Prestige Ranking of Rankings and Ranking League Tables

Figured since we love ranking things, its about time to rank the rankings:

  1. Dealogic/Bloomberg (http://graphics.wsj.com/investment-banking-scorec…) : The most widely used for ppt decks at least for the BBs that rank top 3. Hands down prestigious.

  2. Euromoney (https://www.euromoney.com/best-investment-bank) : I think its good that they break it down by region, also all the banks seem to put Euromoney logo on ppts whenever they get something

  3. Vault Rankings (https://firsthand.co/best-companies-to-work-for/b…) : I think are reasonably accurate, placed it here for the interns and prospects

  4. tied Refinitiv (https://thesource.refinitiv.com/TheSource/getfile…) : I like the graphs, great geographic breakdown, only thing missing is a break down by industry

  5. tied MergerMarket (http://www.mergermarket.com/pdf/MergermarketFinan…) : since its in a pdf it seems legit

  6. Random Youtube video (youtube.com/watch?v=qOyHAcwR3bg) : the dude seems chill, but I guess for those who want to know what a BB, EB, MMs are.

  7. Mergers and Inquisitions (https://mergersandinquisitions.com/top-investment…) : Good but not very quantitative

  8. ADV Ratings (https://www.advratings.com/banking/top-investment…) : Just tells us the 10 largest, thanks...

  9. Financial Times (https://markets.ft.com/data/league-tables/tables-and-trends) : I don't ever hear people actively refer to this. honestly all FT tables are poo

  10. Wall Street Oasis Rankings by random interns/prospects, No Explanation required

  11. The Balance (https://www.thebalance.com/best-investment-banks-…) : BAML and Innovation? CS for Recession Proof?? bEsT iN gErMaNy?!?!

  12. Corporate Finance Institute (https://corporatefinanceinstitute.com/resources/c…) : Not helpful
