Princeton vs. Dartmouth vs. Yale

Is there a significant gap between these schools, at least one that is noticeable in the context of graduate B school admissions/career opportunities? Princeton and Dartmouth seem to offer very similar benefits (best undergraduate focus in the ivy league, tight alumni networks, etc), and then of course Yale is Yale. I know the hierarchy usually goes Y>P>D, but in the real world does going to one school versus the other really matter?

It's easier to get a near perfect GPA at Dartmouth, but I don't think that will matter considering alums are usually the ones reviewing your application. I know that Dartmouth has a weird academic schedule that allows you to do off-cycle internships which is great. On the other hand, Princeton is just a better brand--there's a reason why people use the HYP or HYPS acronyms and not HYD.

I know Princeton has the brand advantage, but will there ever really be any life changing opportunities at Y or P that wouldn't exist at D? Does the brand go noticeably further than the acronym/general prestige?

Have you been accepted to all 3 of these schools? Because if you haven't, there's no point to this discussion. If you managed to get accepted all 3 then congrats! Choose whichever you think you'd enjoy the most because they aren't worlds apart if you're a good student.

I haven't. I'm trying to decide where to apply early decision/early action.

Dartmouth early decision is binding (but with a higher acceptance rate), meaning if I got in I wouldn't be able to see about Y/P. That's why it's tough to decide.

Just apply early to the school you most want to get in to? Don't get into a binding contract with Dartmouth if you're going to regret it. If you want to apply early to Dartmouth, you won't be closing any career or business school doors.

Am I a total rube for thinking Yale has a slightly superior brand over Princeton? Yale and Harvard roll off the tongue...Princeton seems a slight notch below. Isn't Princeton also known for grade deflation?

I am a simple big ten pleb so from the general population perspective i would think Yale>Princeton >Dartmouth. From a real decision perspective i think there are several factors such as 1.) financial aid package (if you need it) 2.) campus location/atmosphere 3.) is there specific major/program that a school has
