Private equity opportunities

I am currently a third yr analyst at a bulge bracket bank in NY. I have never thought about PE until now. What do you guys think are my chances? Are there limited upcoming opportunities? Any advice is really appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks. I have been reaching out to headhunters, however most claim that the cycle has been really slow. Don't know if its bc I am late in the game (being a third year and all or what).

not to be a douche, but why did you JUST think about PE?

did you like banking and want to stay in it for the long term? HF? VCs? just curious as to why the sudden urge to be on the investing/buy-side 3 years into the game (again just curious, not attempting to patronize)

I don't throw darts at a board. I bet on sure things. Read Sun-tzu, The Art of War. Every battle is won before it is ever fought- GG
