Private Equity - Portfolio Solutions Group

Hi All,

Does anyone have experience working w/i a portfolio solutions group at MM/UMM fund (something akin to Audax, TA, Summit)? How separated are the teams from the investment group and what say do they have on driving initiatives? Insight on comp? How does it compare to the investment team and is the portfolio group eligible for carry? Appreciate any input.
