Private Placements
Hello,
I am a current private placement analyst at an insurance company (ie AIG, Prudential, New York Life). What are some of the exit opportunities for an analyst coming out of a rotational / analyst program like these?

Hey bindereric69, I'm here because nobody responded to this thread after a few days...maybe one of these resources will help you:
Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
IDK the answer to your question but interested in what private placement @ an insurance firm is all about, sent you a PM.
Interested as well.
I assume your current role is analyzing private placement investment opportunities for your insurer to purchase for its portfolio? Are you writing a memo and presenting to an investment committee?
If the above is close, I'd think that'd translate pretty well to other "buy-side" roles, like private debt or commercial/corporate banking. Would also think you could switch to the sell-side and do advisory work for issuers.
Please take with a grain of salt - really just speculating based on the work I assume you're doing.
