Private Placements, Pension Fund Interview

Hi guys,

Next week I have an interview for private placements at a large pension fund by Canadian standards ($100B+ AUM)

What would the roll of a buy side firm like this being in the private placement process be?

Is there an overlap with private equity?

What would some of the best questions to ask be in the interview?

What would a summer interns primary role be within this department?

Any other general advice would be appreciated.

Cheers,

JT

Privately placing what? The term is used broadly in debt and equity.
