Pro forma income and balance sheet statements

For a take home case, I was given a high level income statement and balance sheet statement.

I'm trying to forecast 3 years, and was wondering if anyone could offer some advice.

I was able to forecast the income statement, but for the balance sheet, is there a quick, high-level way to do this without building out cash flow, and working capital statements?

For the balance sheet, you can use all the various appropriate ratios (i.e. inventory turnover ratio) to figure out accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable. Something like cash/debt you have to ask yourself how much cash/debt do they need in the future to sustain their current levels. Retained earnings comes from income statement (net income - dividends). That's pretty general/high level. Hope this helps.
