product control or operations - which is better?

Hi guys,

I graduated last year and I am currently working for a well known commercial bank in product control. I have recently been offered a grad opportunity for a BB bank in ops. I ideally would like to progress to FO in the future or at least progress from B0/MO. The ops job is less pay and I imagine I would be working longer hours given that I'm currently on a 9-5 job, however it is with a BB.

Which job do you think would look better on my CV? and which job do you think would be more beneficial in helping me obtain a FO job in the future?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

J
