Never speak poorly about another person, no matter how badly they fuck up. Keep office politics to minimum, do what you need to do and work hard.
This is an excellent question, one that is often overlooked when people join an office (or rejoin post Covid).
I think all the general manners and etiquette should be followed, there are so many books and online resources that will help in figuring out:
- how to greet in an office, especially in a post covid world
- how to introduce each other, based on seniority, relevance (how to introduce a single person vs. a group, how to introduce your team to a client, when/where not to introduce, ..)
- tone of language
- what is the etiquette in business emails and what is the specific culture of your firm (here is a weird example: in our firm the most senior staff in CC are listed first by the sender)
If you are in an international team that faces a global client base, it is very useful to learn a thing or two about their culture as well. In our firm we started a while ago to accept business cards with both hands instead of sliding them across the desk or something. We have quite a few Asian clients.

This is really a weird one, something I didn't know when I started here. They just told me that it makes a better impression if the more senior partners or colleagues are listed first. very strange, because if you use distribution lists they will all show up alphabetically anyway. This is only for recipients that are typed in manually in emails.

Edelman does the seniority first cc thing. Can't imagine insisting on that...
JPM does that as well. People are listed in order of seniority in emails - external and internal hahaha
