It's worth an app.

Does world bank project mean you worked for the world bank or you worked on something they funded? 15% shot if no world bank, 50% shot if yes.

Don't be surprised if they want an in-person interview in Paris. I would say the interview invite means your odds have increased to 40%. You will have to decide if a 40% shot at MIT is worth a $2k plane ticket.

OP what math classes have you taken?

Thzank you. I haven't taken any math classes but a lot of math was ingrained in hardcore finance classes. Plus I've taken independent math courses and I could actually solve the pre req paper they have on their website. I know VBA financial modeling and C++. Secondly, by world bank project, I meant that it's a project set up by Work Bank and Goverment of Pakistan in northern Pakistan and is directly funded by WB. It's 5 year project but they renew it but maybe this time they won't. Another question, MIT doesn't interview shortlisted candidates via Skype? Is in person interview a must? Flying to europe or london from here for an interview is ridiculous. maybe dubai which closest to me?

How much calculus? How much stats? IIRC this is specifically asked for on the application.

My brother thinks you have a good chance at MIT given your country and GMAT. I think there is a skype option, but everyone who got in from India did an in person interview.

I think you have a great shot at any program. LSE and MIT will be the hardest ones to get into (small class size and crazy good applicants) If I were you, I would Take MIT>LSE>LBS. The rest will give you a chance at IB (with Duke not doing so well in IB recruiting if I remember correctly) I don't know where you are on deadlines for the US schools though...
