Project Finance in Japanese Bank?
Anyone has an idea about the career prospect (internal promotion/exit opp) and pay of being a junior analyst in a Japanese bank project finance role (one of Japan's 3 megabanks)?
In terms of exit opp (after working there for a year or two), will I be significantly disadvantaged compared with people who worked in Big4 TS as a senior (which I also got an offer)?
Thanks!

Japanese Bank NY office Project Finance Intern (Originally Posted: 12/29/2016)
Hello Everyone,
I am a junior finance / real estate major at a big 10 biz school. Applied online for general summer analyst position at a reputable Japanese financial institution and was lucky enough to be directed to its PF arm, as I wanted PF opportunity from the very beginning.
I spoke with the HR person for the first round interview and recently received an invitation for the second round. The firm doesn't appears to reimburse for the travel. Should I fly out to NYC in my own expense for the interview? and what are some of the questions should I expect for a PF summer analyst position. I understand PF role usually require more technical questions but bare in mind that this is for an internship.
Thank you all and happy holidays in advance!
